Established in Jan 1996 and with registered capital of CNY 100 million, OKE Precision Cutting Tools Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ‘OKE’) is a high-tech enterprise specializing in independent R&D, production and sales of cemented carbide and CNC cutting tool products. On 10th Dec. 2020, OKE was successfully listed as becoming the first listed company on the SSE Star Market in Zhuzhou City, and the first listed one with cemented carbide tools as its main business.
OKE is the largest manufacturer of carbide saw tips in China, and ranks among the forefront of China for product technology. In 2019, OKE’s CNC carbide inserts output was top 2 in China. After years of technological exploration, OKE has mastered the key technology system for manufacturing tungsten cemented carbide, CNC carbide insert (tools) and whole process of integrated application, successfully solved the control problem of cemented carbide performance stability and accuracy consistency. OKE is able to stably produce cemented carbide tool products with complex structures such as ultra-fine and low-cobalt, ultra-fine and ultra-thin, functional gradients and more. The PVD coated inserts for stainless steel processing and CVD coated inserts for steel processing independently developed by OKE have reached the international advanced level and can replace imported products.
OKE always adheres to the R&D concept of ‘close to the market for improvement and lead the market for research and development’, and formed a technical R&D team composed of chief technical experts, R&D engineers, new product realization echnologists and expert consultants. At the same time, OKE has carried out in-depth industry-university-research cooperation with universities, such as Central South University and Sichuan University. By the end of 2020, OKE obtained 84 authorized domestic patents, include 11 invent patents, 49 practical patents and 24 appearance patents. At the same time, OKE has taken part in the formulation of 3 national standards and 3 industry standards. In addition, OKE participated in a number of technology and industrialization projects.
OKE is not only a new material enterprise in Hunan Province but also a national high-tech enterprise. OKE established a provincial enterprise technology center, and is known as the “little giant enterprise” of Hunan Province.
